The Chioggia Fish Festival takes place in July and lasts about 10 days. During this time the city's centre is transformed by the presence of food stands set up by local associations. In the evenings these offer complete menus, made with locally sourced primary products and designed to enhance the flavours of the earth, the sea and the lagoon.
